Music is a huge part of my life. It may be because I grew up in Nashville. It may be because my mother exposed me to so many amazing artists when I was young. It may be because I found it as my only escape in some of the most difficult times in my life. Whatever it may be, I have been collecting music since I was young. Only in the last few years have I begun to put them all into categories and playlists.
As many people with Bipolar Disorder can relate, music can be therapy in and of itself. In all points in our lives. Through the ups and downs, and everything in between. These are the four playlists that have helped me through some very difficult times in my life. Even in the darkest times, sometimes we want to wallow in our own depression for a bit, and other times we want to celebrate the manic episodes and explore our creativity.
